RCMP have located the white Chevrolet pickup truck believed to have been used by a man wanted for an attempted murder on the Ahtahkakoop First Nation.

The truck was found abandoned on Wednesday on the Ahtahkakoop First Nation, located about 70 kilometres northwest of Prince Albert.

RCMP are still searching for Dominic Ahenakew, who is considered armed and dangerous. He is wanted in connection with the shooting of a man on Tuesday. The victim was transported to hospital by STARS air ambulance in serious, but stable condition. RCMP say the two men knew each other.
