A woman has died as a result of a three-vehicle crash that occurred on Tuesday between Pilot Butte and Balgonie.

RCMP and Balgonie Fire Department responded to the collision on Highway 46 around 9:35pm.

One car had two occupants, the driver and the passenger. The driver was taken to hospital for injuries described as serious in nature, and the front passenger, a 30-year-old female, was declared deceased on scene by EMS.

The drivers and sole occupants of the other two cars were taken to hospital with injuries described as serious.
The investigation is ongoing with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP Collision Analyst.
