The Saskatchewan RCMP’s Swift Current Trafficking Response Team and Moose Jaw Crime Reduction Team obtained and executed a search warrant on a semi and attached trailer after it was stopped on the #1 Highway near Gull Lake for speeding last Thursday afternoon, and 42,000 cartons of illegal cigarettes were seized. The semi driver from Aldergrove, British Columbia, 46-yrar-old Michael Weins, is facing charges related to possession of unstamped tobacco.
