Prince Albert Police say members of their Crime Reduction Team saw a robbery going down in a parking lot in the 2800 block of 6th Avenue East shortly after 10 p.m. Wednesday evening where four people were demanding personal belongings from two victims.
Police intervened and arrested one person for robbery while the others fled the scene.
Two more suspects were rounded up by patrol officers and the Canine unit. One was apprehended after a brief foot chase in the vicinity, another was then arrested and during a search a firearm and a knife were recovered.
Two 18-year-olds, Daniel English and Cashton Bear-Paquette are charged with robbery with a firearm. A 17-year-old was charged with robbery with a firearm, carry a concealed weapon, and possession of a dangerous weapon. All three made their first court appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court today.
