A North Battleford man is facing 12 charges, as well as 27 charges from a previous offence, after a search warrant was executed at home in Cutknife.
On Thursday in Cutknife. the Battleford Gang Task Force found and arrested 39-year-old Christopher Ludviksen, who was wanted on drug trafficking and firearms offences.
During the search of their vehicle, Ludviksen, and 35-yuear-old Heather Paskemin, were found to be in possession of a loaded prohibited firearm, over 950 grams of cocaine, more than 650 grams of meth, more than 3000 illegal cigarettes and a large sum of currency.
The Gang Task Force then executed a search warrant at a residence on the 400 block of Steele Street in Cutknife. Police seized an additional semi-automatic firearm, ammunition, as well as other evidence of drug trafficking.
Ludviksen was arrested in connection to a search warrant previously executed in North Battleford on March 24, 2024 in which police located 1700 grams of methamphetamine, 28 000 illegal cigarettes and five firearms.
Forty-one-year-old Curtis Fransoo of North Battleford was arrested at the scene and is facing 5 charges, as well.
All three individuals have been held in custody and will be appearing in North Battleford Provincial Court on April 8.
