A 44-year-old man died when the dump truck he was driving overturned prior to the rush hour last Friday afternoon in Saskatoon.

It happened around 2:45pm on Circle Drive North near Attridge Drive.

Bystanders attempted to assist the man who was trapped in the cab. He was finally extricated by members of the Saskatoon Fire Department. The man was transported to hospital by ambulance where he died a short time later.

His family has been notified and his name will not be released.
