Fuel Good Day 2024 raised more than $700,000 across Western Canada, surpassing the previous record in 2019 of $685,000.

A news release from Federated Co-operatives Limited says Fuel Good Day is held every September.

Participating local Co-ops donate a minimum of five cents per litre of gas to a local charity or non-profit organization.

Since 2017, more than $5 million has been raised, supporting more than 1,000 local organizations.
