The Saskatoon Blades hockey club and Brandt Tractor Limited have teamed up to unveil Kirby Dach bobblehead night on Saturday, January 11th vs the Prince George Courgars.
This will mark the first time the Blades have hosted a bobblehead night since February 18th, 2015 when current Winnipeg Jets’ prospect Nelson Nogier received the same honour.
When entering the game on the 11th, fans will be handed one of three coloured cards, during the game one card colour will be selected. All fans with the matching coloured card will then be able to redeem their card for a Dach bobblehead.
Tyler Wawryk, Director of Business Operations with the Blades says Chicago Blackhawks rookie was an easy choice for bobblehead night given that he has been one of the most popular players in recent history.
Doors open at 6 o’clock on the 11th. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to ensure they receive a card as supplies are limited.
If you can’t make it to the game and want to hear the action unfold between the Cougars and Blades, you can tune in to 98 Cool beginning at 6 p.m. for the Sardinia Family Restaurant pre-game show followed by the play-by-play at 7 p.m.
Brandt also announced that they’ll be donating $2500 dollars to the Kinsmen Club for the Kinsmen Inner City Hockey League. The league introduces inner city youth to the game of hockey and runs solely on donations. The donation will go towards purchasing equipment, ice rentals and transportation.
